Carrier Networks provide connectivity for our national telecommunications infrastructure, delivering the framework or backbone off which telecommunications service providers can offer their services. Jasco has been a player in this space for many years and is able to deliver solutions and services that strengthen this infrastructure, underpinned by its expertise and experience.

The Networks business unit is divided into three strategic departments to service these requirements: Telecommunication Solutions, Broadcast Solutions and Co-location Solutions.
Telecommunication Solutions
Telecommunication Solutions are the experts in the supply and full integration of telecommunications equipment. Specialising in access and transmission networks, infrastructure and service; Telecommunication Solutions uses only best-of-breed products across a variety of connectivity media.
Along with our expert engineering skills and renowned service capabilities, we take control of the entire process, from network planning and installation through to commissioning, integration, training and provisioning of maintenance and support resources.
Broadcast Solutions
Broadcast Solutions provides the solutions, services and enabling technologies that cover the broadcast value chain from image capture through to transmission. We specialise in designing complete solutions, using best-of-breed products and our extensive in-house integration skills.
As the broadcasting arena moves inexorably towards the digital space, we have the capacity to leverage the capabilities of partners within the Jasco stable to provide services at highly cost effective rates. These include video streaming technology along with digital storage and backup and archiving required for footage at a secure offsite data centre.
Co-location Solutions
Co-location Solutions houses the NewTelco SA brand, developed in partnership with German company NewTelco GmbH. The department offers carrier neutral co-location services with a broad range of local, regional and global interconnectivity, along withservices that are reliable and consistently high quality. New Telco SA is able to leverage its ECNS license for the provisioning of local links on behalf of foreign carriers across South African territory.
Through our co-location data centre in Midrand in Gauteng, we deliver a transparent connection to international destinations and offer carriers a fast, cost efficient, carrier grade and reliable point of presence (PoP) in South Africa to switch customer traffic seamlessly and inexpensively in the region.
