M-TEC

Jasco acquired a share in M-Tec during last year (2008) from Community Investment Holdings Limited, our Black Economic Empowerment partner. The original factory from which M-Tec operates was founded in 1912 and was for many years the only supplier of aluminium overheads for Eskom.

Jasco is in partnership with Taihan Electronic Wire company, one of the top 10 cable manufacturers in the world, that adds valuable technical expertise to M-Tec. M-Tec supplies various market segments with Power and Telecommunication cable. These include aluminium conductors, a range of copper power cables, fibre cable and other copper strip products.
