Our newest plugins take advantage of AI assistance and other emerging technologies to deliver best-in-class skin tone processing.
Smooth Skin
A general purpose retouching/beauty plugin that can do skin smoothing or actually remove undesired skin features such as blemishes and replace them with the surrounding area using an adjustable diffusion algorithm. It replaces the Perfect Skin plugin. Smooth Skin uses a chroma keying algorithm to limit the processing to selectable skin tones. This can either be sampled with an eye dropper tool, or by using onscreen controls. Processing may be restricted to a specific area by use of a limit mask.
Smooth Skin Express has been written as a replacement for the original Fast Makeup Artist and retains its simplified control scheme.
Smooth Skin Express generates a mask based on standard skintones. This mask is used to determine where smoothing occurs. You can adjust the mask density and falloff to suit your situation. Smooth Skin Express also contains an Advanced section for blocking unwanted smoothing with a Cutout Mask for when its high-speed skin selection routines pick up areas of your image you do not want smoothed such as hair or lips or items in the background.
Cover Up
Cover Up is a general purpose retouching/beauty plugin that applies a virtual coverup or foundation and may be used multiple times to reduce shine, alter eye color or lip color, and reduce shadows or redness. It replaces the previous releases of Coverup.
Cover Up uses a chroma keying algorithm to limit the processing to selectable skin tones. This can either be sampled with an eye dropper tool, or by using onscreen controls. Processing may be restricted to a specific area by use of a limit mask.
As well as processing skin tones, Cover Up may be used to alter eye or lip (or clothing) color.
